Sprout Club offers free, educational (and fun) act Sprout Club offers free, educational (and fun) activities about food security, nutrition, and the environment for children ages 4-12 all summer long!

This weeks activity: Paper plate animal masks! Kids will learn how to give paper plates a new life, while also learning educational facts about our local fauna.

Make sure to stop by our Sprout Club Booth (right beside our Info Booth across from Gary's Kettle Corn) with your kids, pick up a passport and collect a stamp for participating! Each stamp is worth one entry into our sustainability-related prize pack that will keep kids learning at home!

This year's Sprout Club program is generously sponsored by @belmontdentalcentre! ☀️
Over the weekend, the NWFM team was heartbroken to Over the weekend, the NWFM team was heartbroken to learn of the devastating fire permanently displaced approximately 100 residents, and subsequently moved by how our community has shown up to support our neighbours. Our hearts are with those displaced, and made full by those who've shown up.

The NWFM will be collecting voluntary entrance donations tomorrow via cash and card, all of which will be e-transferred to: admin@newwestnh.ca

The NWFM also has a Pay if Forward program, wherein you can support others' access to the market, by donating market money at our info booth, which can be used like cash with any vendor. No questions asked.

Can't make it to the market, but want to support?
E-transfer monetary donations to: admin@newwestnh.ca or go to: newwestnh.ca to learn more about how you can support your fellow New Westies.

Affected by the fire?
Please reach out to the New West Neighbourhood House for immediate support. There are lots of resources listed on the New Westies are the Besties Facebook group, as well as the Friends of Pinecrest Manor Facebook Page.

Land Acknowledgement

Our market is grateful to operate on the unceded land of the Qayqayt, Kwikwetlem, and other Halkomelem speaking Peoples. We acknowledge that colonialism has made invisible their histories and connections to the land. We acknowledge the incredible gift this land is to our market and BC Agriculture. We commit to the ongoing work of decolonization and allyship.
